      The Academy of the Cosmic Thread is foremost a Sacred School, a place to learn, grow and become something new. What is a Cosmic Thread? The term Cosmic Thread is from the Astronomers at The Australian National University’s report of a textile that forms the fabric of the Universe…”What we have discovered is evidence for the cosmic thread that connects us to the vast expense of the Universe.” They have discovered proof of a vast filament of material that connects our Milky Way Galaxy to nearby clusters of galaxies, which are similarly interconnected to the rest of the Universe, The Cosmic Thread that Binds.
     We are also that Cosmic Thread. All spiritual traditions in their unique culture and language spoke of the Cosmic Thread. St. Paul said, “It is I, but not I, but the Christ within.” Hermès Trismegistus said, “As above, so below, so within, so without, as the universe, so the soul.” Plato following Socrates, expresses the mystery of Beauty, “It is an everlasting loveliness which neither comes nor goes, which neither flowers nor fades, for such beauty is the same on every hand, the same then as now, here as there, this way as that way."
     These quotes from three distinct times, languages and cultures refer to that profound understanding of the journey within. The Academy of the Cosmic Thread continues those paths yet brings it into twentieth first century language and culture, each of us is a Cosmic Thread that Binds weaving our pattern into the woven Tapestry of the Life. We begin by removing our limitations and our narrow understanding of what we think of ourselves, others and the universe. We are all magnificent Cosmic Threads within. As we discover this, the Cosmic Thread weaves itself into a vast and mysterious woven pattern creating love, consciousness and Beauty.
  ACT focuses on the experience and unique path of each of its students. We all come from unique histories, karmas, and conditions. We are all programmed by a society that is limited by its own perspective and conditioning. What is not taught is the path to eternal consciousness. That is the quality of the Cosmic Thread that Binds. Our minds are limited by our rational brains trying to comprehend a world moving faster and faster into something that no longer can be understood by the rational mind. That may seem frightening to some, but for others, there's a creative explosion of something completely new. Throughout history some have known the mysteries buried with the human mind and soul. A 21st century St.Paul would say, "It is I, but not I, but the Cosmic Thread within."A 21st century Hermès Trismegistus would say, “It's all one,” and a 21st century Socrates would say, “Beauty is eternal .” We encouraging students to move beyond their rational mind and enter the depths within.

In these times, a rational understanding is limited. We need more than a physical, emotional or rational explanation to explain and comprehend this vastly complex world we all find ourselves.
